Who we are

Live Engrave operates this website and is responsible for the personal information collected through it. This privacy policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights available to you under applicable data protection law.

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form on this site, we collect the information you provide directly, which may include your first name, last name, company name, email address, phone number and the details you provide about your event or requirements.

We also receive limited technical information automatically when you load the site, such as server logs, IP address, browser information and basic request metadata needed to deliver and secure the website.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about a potential event or project.
• To operate, secure and improve the website.
• To keep records of commercial enquiries and follow-up discussions.
• To send occasional marketing updates or offers only where you have not used the opt-out presented on the form.

For most enquiry handling, our lawful basis is legitimate interests: specifically, operating the website, responding to inbound business enquiries and managing potential commercial relationships. Where an enquiry is clearly directed at entering into a service relationship, processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Processors and service providers

We use service providers to help operate this website and communications workflow. At the time of writing, this includes Railway for hosting and infrastructure, and Brevo for contact-form email delivery and marketing contact management. These providers process data on our behalf to the extent needed to deliver the service.

If you submit the enquiry form and do not use the marketing opt-out checkbox, your contact details may be created or updated as a Brevo contact so we can send relevant marketing updates or offers.

This site also loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details as part of delivering the font assets.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process personal data outside the UK. Where that happens, we expect those providers to use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual protections, where required.

Retention

We keep enquiry information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected. As a general rule, we keep business enquiry records for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact unless we need to retain them for a longer period for legal, contractual or dispute-management reasons.

Cookies and tracking

At the time of writing, this site does not use analytics cookies or advertising cookies. Basic technical logs may still be created by the hosting platform for security, delivery and operational purposes.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be erased, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request portability where applicable.

If you have concerns about how your information is handled, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.
